Well, I said that I would post some pics that I have taken with my new camera, so, I have almost had my camera for a month, and though I haven't used it as much as I would have liked, I did take a few landscape pictures. None of them I am too proud about, but since I said I would post some...here goes nothing.
I think I like this one the best. I love the colors of the tree, grass, and sky. Most of those leaves have fallen of now, and I think it is snowing lightly outside right now. Wow, this year is almost gone.
I've gotten so used to using Lightroom 3 on my sisters computer, It is hard going back to the very small edits I can do in iPhoto. Oh well.
Hey folks, have you ever, like, been around someone who uses 'like' incorrectly, like, a lot? =D Well, we had some people over for dinner who did just that. Now don't get me wrong, I say 'like' incorrectly once in awhile, but these people said it several times in one sentence. So, as the meal progressed, we started playing a game where we rang a bell that was in the middle of the table every time someone said 'like' incorrectly. You have to understand, this wasn't your average bell. This bell was VERY loud. It was a bell we got at a hockey game (the only hockey game I've been to, and we didn't buy it, we found it outside of the arena)
Our family has a bell that we sometimes ring to get people to come to eat, but the bell we used for this game was about four times louder. So, when you said like, someone would ring the bell. It was a fun game that made us really think about what we were saying. Maybe...even...thinking before...talking. The game caused people to be creative and say things such as 'quite similar to' and 'such as'. We had a good time.
Anyway, if you haven't seen this short video yet, it is worth watching.
